ECG Exercise Testing
               Treadmill exercise testing

This  is the most acceptable form  of reproducible exercise testing.
Bicycle testing is only sufficient for diagnosis.
For regular follow-up and comparison, a treadmill test is essential.

The ECG exercise test allows the observation of blood pressure,
chest pain on exercise and ECG changes typical of heart disease.
Its most important use is the diagnosis of angina - a tight chest pain
brought on by exercise and relieved by rest. True angina is most
often due to a partially blocked coronary artery.

Although impressive, we cannot rely on it completely. Some
people with coronary artery disease have a normal test, although,
they often have unexplained shortness of breath.
